Once the sky has dropped its last flake and the city floor becomes fully cloaked in frozen vapor, the renewed landscape reminds one of an untouched canvas.   Buildings, trees, sculptures and  handrails once thought to have been erected by our ancestors, now undoubtably appear painted into our world by the greatest of artisans.  Potter, Fernandez, Benedix, Albright, Learn and Defenbau rode some canvas that day, adding vital life to the otherwise remote piece of art.
