from my own experience

Brandon Johanns is a Colorado born artist with a background in philosophy and psychology.  His work reflects his fascination with metaphors and perception.  “Each time my shutter leaves its resting place I aim to not only photograph my subject but I hope to capture the shape and feeling of my experience with it.  I am forever grateful for the blazing stars in the sky and these marvelous toys which allow us to capture our directly felt experiences.”

You do wonderful work. I’m an acquaintance of Nick Hill. I know him through Cody Taube who is a great friend of mine. I saw your photos of the moab mountain board insanity and can’t wait to see a “movie”? from this excursion. I Love and share your philosophy on photography and your love of film…..and you do great digital work too.. great work.

  2. Your photos are absolutely incredible. I’m a musician and am friends with Cory Schmidt, which one of his Facebook photos brought me here to your site.

I have set up a simple website for my own personal use, and for others to reference me from a business card. Nothing too fancy, but I have a background image I shot from an iPhone in California about a year ago. I found one of your photos on here that I would love to use as my background for the release of my site in the coming weeks. Just basically making it public on Facebook and whatnot. I was curious if you would be alright with me using the image? No cd covers or anything that I would profit from, just a background and credit to your website in the about me while I use the image… Or what would you request? I’m about to move to California so funds are tight, but nonetheless, I have to at least take the time to complement your amazing work.
